1031 Exchanges

Market Force Commercial’s 1031 experts have been conducting 1031 tax exchanges for commercial real estate sales in the Northeast Florida area for nearly 20 years. We have an in-house 1031 Exchange Attorney who specializes in advising and handling 1031 Exchanges for our buyer and seller clients.  Our primary goal is to keep the 1031 tax exchange process on track. 1031 tax exchanges are a well-established, IRS approved method for selling commercial real estate, allowing investors to defer paying capital gains and depreciation recapture. However, it’s crucial for both the seller and buyer to abide by the important rules and regulations applicable to 1031 exchanges. We work closely with the Qualified Intermediary and the seller’s real estate counsel to review available replacement inventory, negotiate, manage due diligence, and ultimately complete the exchange successfully.
